MCI ACQUIRES EUROPEAN NETWORK

MCI announced today that it has acquired the Swedish-owned “European Network” with offices in Stockholm, London and Barcelona. The acquisition gives MCI a strong Corporate Division in Scandinavia with both a Destination Management (DMC) and a Meetings & Events operation in Stockholm. In London and Barcelona the European Network-teams will strengthen MCI’s existing DMC operations – particularly on the Scandinavian market which is European Network’s key market. In Scandinavia, MCI also has an office in Gothenburg with corporate meeting operations.
